This policy outlines our shipping rates, delivery timelines, and returns process for cleaning products and equipment purchased from The Dust Busters.

This policy applies to cleaning products and equipment purchases only. For information about our cleaning services, please refer to our Service Terms and Conditions.
1. Shipping Rates
We offer various shipping options to suit your needs. All rates are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT.

2. Delivery Information
Processing Time
All orders are processed within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays). Orders placed after 2pm will be processed the next business day.

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.

Delivery Issues
If you experience any issues with your delivery, please contact us immediately:
- Failed Delivery Attempts: If no one is available to receive the package, our courier will leave a notification card. You will have 5 business days to collect your package from the nearest depot.
- Incorrect Address: Please ensure your shipping address is correct. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, you will be responsible for reshipping costs.
- Damaged Packages: If your package arrives damaged, please refuse delivery and contact us immediately. Take photos of the damaged package for our records.
COVID-19 Delivery Update
Due to ongoing logistical challenges, delivery times may be longer than usual. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
3. Returns Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy with your order, we're here to help.
Return Eligibility
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Items must be in their original packaging with all tags attached.

Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons:
- Opened cleaning chemicals or liquids
- Personal protective equipment (gloves, masks)
- Customized or personalized items
- Downloadable software products
- Items marked as "final sale" or "clearance"
Return Shipping Costs
- If you received a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, we will cover return shipping costs.
- If you are returning an item for any other reason, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

- Returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery
- Items must be unused and in original condition
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service for returns
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
4. Refunds
Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received a refund after 10 business days, please:
- Check your bank account again
- Contact your credit card company - it may take some time before your refund is officially posted
- Contact your bank - there is often some processing time before a refund is posted

Sale Items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded unless they are defective or damaged upon arrival.

5. Warranties
Manufacturer Warranties
Many of our products come with manufacturer warranties. These warranties are provided by the product manufacturer and may vary by product. Please check individual product pages for specific warranty information.
Our Guarantee
In addition to manufacturer warranties, we offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee on all products. If you're not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can return it within 14 days for a full refund (excluding shipping costs).
Warranty Claims
To make a warranty claim:
- Contact us with your order number and details of the issue
- We will provide instructions for returning the item if necessary
- Once we receive and inspect the item, we will process your warranty claim
- You will receive a replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate
Extended Warranties
We offer extended warranty options on select products. These can be purchased at checkout and provide additional protection beyond the standard manufacturer warranty.
6. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, contact us at returns@thedustbusters.co.za and we will provide instructions.
Exchanging for a Different Product
If you wish to exchange an item for a different product:
- Return the original item following our standard returns process
- Once we receive and process your return, you will receive a refund
- Place a new order for the desired product
This process ensures you receive the correct refund amount and can purchase the new item at the current price.
